If Saba Azad hasn’t taken over your feed in the last week, I can assume you’re not really cued into the Indian pop culture scene. She opened the show for Raw Mango at the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week last week and even performed a musical number at another show. And it’s safe to say her vibe is infectious.
If you know her as Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend, I’m here to tell you she’s so much more than that. The musician and theatre artiste even has her own show now. But that’s not all, one look at her Instagram and you can tell she’s an ardent beauty girlie too. From experimenting with various coloured wigs to daring makeup, she seems to have done it all. And I know I’m taking notes, especially since Halloween is just around the corner!
Saba Azad’s Most Experimental Looks
Old Hollywood Glamour
Hair pinned up in tight glossy curls, bright red lips and a perfectly contoured face is the perfect embodiment of the classic, old Hollywood glamour look.
Radiant In Red
Hopping on to the monotone makeup look, Saba matched her glamm with her outfit. See the red lips, rosy cheeks, and matching eyeshadow? We stan!
For her Lollapalooza performance, Saba showcased the most Y2K look ever with half her hair pulled up into space buns and the rest styled into messy waves.
Colour Colour, Which Colour?
Clearly, she’s got a thing for coloured wigs. Whether you’re looking for an Anime-inspired look or a Hollywood-inspired one, Saba’s got them all.
Funky In A Fringe
My biggest fear when it comes to getting bangs, is that it’s going to be too short and won’t cover my forehead. If only I had the guts to wing the look as well as Saba did and convert it into an Audrey Hepburn moment!
Frida, Is That You?
Centre-parted pulled-up braided hair instantly reminds me of Frida Kahlo. The only thing that’s missing in Saba’s look is a flower crown
Girl Next Door
And if you thought she only sports experimental looks, know that it’s because she’s already aced the effortless girl next door look!
Saba is radiating Y2K diva vibes. Clearly, there’s no such thing as ‘too experimental’ with Saba when it comes to her looks and I hope to be able to embody that vibe someday!
