With just a few weeks left in 2022, we are already making plans for 2023. Meanwhile, we’ve been having way too much fun keeping up with all the celeb shaadi speculations! For the longest time, social media has been abuzz with the rumours of Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding. While the two have kept mum on the subject, we did get an update from dulhan-to-be’s dad actor Suniel Shetty.
In a recent interview, Suniel revealed that he is selecting likely wedding dates and will share the news of Athiya and Rahul’s wedding soon. The Hera Pheri actor shared, “I am looking at the possible dates. With both their schedules, we are figuring out things. Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will it (the wedding) happen.”
Suniel added, “I guess at the right time, everyone will know [details about the wedding].”
NGL, we are already beyond excited to see these two lovebirds getting hitched!
Here’s All We Know About Athiya & KL Rahul’s Shaadi
Recently, a source close to Rahul and Athiya spilled the beans about the couple’s wedding plans. They shared, “Rahul and Athiya will tie the knot in January. They visited the Khandala house recently. While the exact dates are under the wraps, the couple will have a traditional wedding. The soon-to-be bride and groom have finalised their outfits for the big day.”
A little birdie also told us that Athiya and Rahul had planned to get married in 2022 but their conflicting schedules proved to be a problem. In an interview earlier, dad Suniel opened up on the delay in their wedding and said, “I think jaise hi bachhe decide karenge. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (I think the wedding will happen when the kids will decide. When these two will get a break, only then they can get married. A wedding can’t happen in a day right?”
TBH, we were dying to obsess over another Bollywood wedding for the longest time. Finally, we got our wish! Let’s hope Athiya and Rahul make an official announcement soon.
