It is said that art imitates life. But sometimes in moments of serendipity, life ends up imitating art and giving us the most desired outcomes. Something similar happened with the Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actors Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma who tied the knot recently. For the unversed, the two play each other’s love interest in hit show GHKPM who had to part ways because of unfavourable circumstances. Well, looks like the story that had been left unfinished in reel life has now been completed in the real one with these two tying the knot. The couple got hitched in a traditional ceremony yesterday in Indore and here’s a sneak peek for your all:
Neil & Aishwarya’s Desi Wedding Avatar
Neil and Aishwarya kept it desi and fuss-free for their wedding festivities. For her bridal finery, Aishwarya wore a traditional bandhani lehenga complete with khara gota work and a second dupatta. She finished off her look with a heavy kundan choker, jhumkis, and a dainty nose ring. We love how she ditched the maang tikka for a rakdi to keep up with the traditional appeal of her outfit. Neil complimented his lady love in an off-white sherwani and red stole. We love how their looks are absolutely unpretentious, desi, and steeped in tradition.

Sangeet Shenanigans
Aishwarya took the contemporary route for her sangeet ceremony and wore a fuchsia pink printed lehenga. She paired it with a plunging boat neck kurti in baby pink and a matching net dupatta embellished with mirror handwork. Neil’s matching baby pink sherwani also featured the same embroidery and this hands down is our favourite look from their wedding.

Holi Wali Haldi
The couple had a no-hold-barred, holi-style haldi and it is quite apparent from the pictures that everyone had a gala time at the function. Keeping up with their minimal aesthetics, Neil and Aishwarya opted for simple outfits dipped in different hues of yellow that were clearly selected to get down and dirty.
