Rashami Desai Opens Up About Sidharth Shukla’s Demise & It’s Making Us So Emotional

Sidharth Shukla’s untimely death was like a personal loss to many of us. We always saw him as the quintessential hero of the television industry and we got the chance to know him personally when he participated in Bigg Boss 13. While there were many instances on the show when he won our hearts, there was one specific moment that made all of us emotional. It was during the Family Task when Sid made Rashami Desai drink water while she stood motionless. He wiped her tears and consoled her as she was feeling low while missing her family. That moment was truly something. It showed the audience the bond that these two shared. Despite having massive fights during the game, deep down, the two really cared for each other.

The actor’s death has disturbed Rashami a lot and has even affected her professional life. She has backed out from the promotion of her music video called Subhan Allah that released on September 7. During a recent interview with a leading daily, she opened up about her bond with Sid and how she’s coping up with the loss.

While talking about her love-hate relationship with the actor, Rashami said, “Sidharth was special, no doubt we fought, we had our issues but at the end of the day there was a good friendship and we cared for each other.”

Before entering BB 13, the duo worked together and played lead roles in their daily soap, Dil Se Dil Tak. After Sid’s death, Rashami is taking time to heal and while talking about it, she said, “I can say a lot, but this time I cannot keep going. I planned to not be part of any promotional activities for the song. I am lucky that our producer Shahzeb Azad understood my situation and allowed me to grieve.”

Words don’t make sense anymore. My heart breaks as I type this – rest in peace #SidharthShukla 💔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Om shanti 🙏🏼”

We are glad that Rashami is taking all the time she needs to grieve and heal. We’re hoping that she gets in a better place soon.
