Recently, Ranveer made a massive revelation about how he won over his parents-in-law on Koffee With Karan and it is an intriguing tale. The Simmba actor made his way to the show with his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Alia Bhatt and spilled the beans about his marital life. Ranveer revealed that even though DP’s parents have accepted him as a part of the family, things weren’t always so easy when he first met them.
Ranveer shared, “I am still managing. I am still figuring it out. For starters, I have two wardrobes now. When I go to Bangalore, there is a special wardrobe – white t-shirt and blue jeans. I don’t want to throw them off. Initially, they were completely thrown away like who is this, what is this? Especially Deepika’s mom. She did not know what to make of me, honestly.”
“We took time to warm up to each other but now she is like my mom,” the actor added.
NGL, impressing the in-laws can be always tricky but we are so happy to see Ranveer going the extra mile for Deepika’s family. DP is one lucky lady, isn’t she?
