When Bigg Boss OTT premiered online, everyone had sky-high expectations from the show and it delivered for sure! With more masala, drama and romance than its telly counterpart, BB OTT became one of the most talked about reality shows of the year 2021. Karan Johar made for an impressive host for season 1 and we were hoping to see him back on the stage for season 2. Unfortunately, KJo made it clear that he is far too busy to host season 2 and since then we have been wondering who will host the show.
Recently, a little birdie told us that season 2 might be hosted by Ranveer Singh. A source close to the show’s development team had earlier shared, “Makers have started working on the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. As they couldn’t get dates from Karan Johar, the makers have finalised Ranveer Singh to host the show. He has earlier worked for the channel for another reality TV show, The Big Picture.”
After hearing this buzz, we decided to put on our detective hats and here’s what we discovered—Ranveer won’t be hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2 or any other reality show anytime soon. A source close to the actor revealed, “This is absolutely untrue. It’s not fact-checked and nothing is brewing in this regard. Ranveer is currently too busy with his film commitments and he is set to start working on exciting films that will be announced in due course of time”
NGL fam, we were way too excited to see Ranveer hosting one of the most controversial reality shows of all time. However, we understand that the actor has been consumed with back-to-back projects and other work commitments. Ranveer will be soon seen in Karan Johar’s production Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Alia Bhatt.
