Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone marked their appearance as the first two guests in the brand-new season of our favorite talk show, Koffee With Karan.
From talking about their dating phase to answering some sizzling questions, the duo made the season’s first episode an absolute banger. However, it was their wedding video that took us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
The video started with the groom’s heartwarming words as he addressed the guests. He mentioned that he couldn’t have imagined being with Deepika Padukone back in that time, but he made it.
Taking absolute pleasure and pride in being the actress’ to-be husband, he mentioned that this is the one thing that he did right in his life in his adorable speech.
In the video, Deepika Padukone was asked what attracted her the most about the actor and she gave a warm response that had us in tears.
“I was attracted to what the world had not seen. There’s a quiet side to him. There’s a very intelligent side to him. There’s a sensitive side to him. I love the fact that he cries.”
Prakash Padukone, the former badminton champion and the bride’s father, also revealed how Ranveer Singh’s distinctive aura brings life to their ‘boring’ family.
“He’s very fond of her. He’s exactly the opposite of my family. We are all very quiet but I think it’s a good change because we are a boring family – the four of us. I think he’ll bring some life.”
Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, the groom’s father, revealed that his son had decided to marry the actor in his childhood. He believes that everything is written in destiny and it was just meant to happen.
“In the growing up years, other sons come and say that when I grow up, I’ll become a pilot. Do you know what this guy said? Dad, aapko maalum hai, main ek din Deepika Padukone se shaadi karunga.”
