To be honest fam, it has been a while since we got treated to #DeepVeer posts on the ‘Gram and we have been missing the two. In the last couple of weeks, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were hella busy with their work commitments and perhaps that’s why their social media feeds have been so dry. Lucky for us, we recently stumbled upon some adorable pictures and videos from the couple’s trip to the United States and they look adorable as ever.
While in the US, Ranveer and Deepika made their way to Shankar Mahadevan’s concert and they were accompanied by the Om Shanti Om actress’ parents—Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, and her sister Anisha Padukone. That’s not all, Ranveer also got the sweetest surprise during this vacay when Shankar decided to throw an early birthday bash for the Gully Boy actor. In a video shared by fans, Mahadevan can be seen singing the birthday song for Ranveer, as Deepika and the crowd join him.

While we totally loved the videos of Ranveer and Deepika dancing together, one particular clip did get our extra attention. In the video, Ranveer can be seen talking about his mother-in-law from the stage as Shankar Mahadevan stands next to him. He says, “I was given strict instruction to not do this. I am so scared of my mother-in-law, you guys have no idea. She is sitting in the front row wagging her finger at me. I am a goner now”
