Neetu Kapoor is one happy mommy right now. Her laadla beta is finally getting married after all the waiting and this is an equal parts emotional and joyous time for Neetu. Yesterday, she kick-started the wedding festivities by sharing a picture of her engagement with Rishi Kapoor. “Fond memories of baisakhi day 😍 as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979,” she wrote in the caption, shedding light on how important the date is for her.
Later, she also shared a video of Ranbir and Alia from the Brahmastra promotions where the couple’s chemistry is almost palpable. In the video, Alia can be seen fidgeting with a chain. After she continues struggling, Ranbir subtly reaches out, takes the chain, and keeps it in his pocket. It is an adorable video and shows how the couple can communicate even without uttering a single word.

Last night, Neetu also interacted with the media and shared how she adores Alia Bhatt and is ecstatic that she’ll be her pyaari bahu. “Main kya bolun uske baare mein? She is the best,” shared the elated MIL-to-be when questioned about Alia. Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima then quickly added that Alia is “cute as a doll” and the sweetest person she knows.
Well, the Kapoor clan is clearly excited to welcome their cute bahu and we can not wait to witness it all. Here’s hoping that #RaAlia grace our social media feed with their shaadi pictures soon.
