Truth be told, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of our fave couples in Bollywood. From their dreamy love story to their fairytale wedding, we’ve seen it all. Now, the couple are all set to embark on the journey of parenthood, and NGL, we couldn’t be more happier. Recently, Ranbir opened up about his fatherhood approach, and men, it’s time to take some notes!
In an interview with a leading daily, Ranbir said, “Alia and I have been talking about it for some time now, how we’re going to share our responsibilities and how we’re going to share our time. We grew up in a generation where our fathers were quite busy with work and were not around us, so more or less we’ve been brought up by our mothers, so we were close to our mothers. I want to have a different dynamic with my children, I want them to be close to me also.” TBH, we totally agree that men of today need to be more involved in parenting. And NGL, we love that Ranbir wants to be a hands-on father.
Soon-to-be dad, Ranbir also expressed his wishes to see both of them lead a more balanced life, even after having a child. He said, “Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child. So we have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life and our professional life, so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it.”
On the work front, Alia just wrapped up her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone. The film also features Gal Gaddot, and Alia even shared a heartwarming note as she returned home. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is all prepped for the release of his upcomingfilm, Shamshera. It is scheduled for release on June 22.
And about Ranbir’s view on parenting, we’re hella excited to see both Alia and Ranbir take on this new role. And we’re sure, they’ll make the most amazing parents in B-town!
