Shivani and Nihar had a beautiful beach wedding at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. And in order to make it zara hatke, the lovely duo combined all their favourite quirks to represent their fun personalities. It all started when Nihar proposed to Shivani amidst the wilderness of the Joshua National Park in Southern California. Following their romantic courtship, the couple tied the knot in a grand destination wedding in Goa which was planned and executed by Buzz Events and beautifully captured by Going Bananas Photography.

Haldi with some holi!
Since the couple identify themselves as complete ‘weirdos’ they wanted to bring that quality into their wedding too. Instead of just organizing the same old haldi ceremony, the couple instead, chose to start their wedding festivities on a colourful note. Just look at their crazy holi party on the beach! From young ones to adults, everyone indulged in smearing colours on the happy faces of couples and guests. And did you spot those quirky badges? So much fun!

The Crazy Wedding

While Shivani looked resplendent in a rani pink and fuschia lehenga by Ushnak Mal, Nihar looked handsome in a white and red sherwani complete with a slightly ‘impromptu’ safa. The husband-to-be had a bit of a faux pas during his safa tying session. A DIY safa had to be created on the spot using two stoles and the kalgi was actually Shivani’s brother, Arjun’s brooch!
From the sunset pheras to the crazy wedding vows, Shivani and Nihar’s wedding was full of quirky details and happy smiles.
