We have to say, this on-screen jodi is different from most of the Hindi serial couples we have seen ever. Anuj has been in love with Anu for more than two decades now. He has accepted that she will never reciprocate his feelings quite gracefully as well. The best thing about their friendship is the mutual respect they have for each other and it makes their bond really special. In a recent episode, we saw a glimpse of it during a scene where Anu and Anuj were in the kitchen together. In the episode, we saw Anu working in the kitchen and Anuj coming over and telling her that he wouldn’t let her work alone in the house ever. He took utensils out of her hand and started doing the chores along with her. We know, we know, a man ‘helping’ a woman with household work? It’s the bare minimum! But, that’s not what the netizens are loving about this moment. It’s the fact that in this scene, the two are looking at each other as partners…as equals, and that’s not something we see in daily soaps often.

Anuj’s sister, Malvika (Aneri Vajani), came to the kitchen later and greeted them gracefully. She offered to cook for her brother and didn’t forget to ask what Anu would like to eat as well. Again, this is so refreshing! Daily soaps in India are infamous for pitting women against women. But, in this instance, we see two ladies, who don’t even know each other that well, being respectful towards one another.
Well, Anupama has finally realised her love for Anuj and what an amazing man he is. TBH, we think he’s perfect for her and they should get together stat! We hope that they both confess their feelings to each other soon.
