Priyanka Chopra has successfully conquered Hollywood, and we’re so proud! Following the success of her series Citadel and her stunning appearance at the 2023 Met Gala, the actress is now gearing up for the release of her film, Love Again. The romantic film is all set to be released in India on May 12, and this one is a little extra special for PC. Why? Because it features a special cameo by her husband, Nick Jonas!
The film stars Sam Heughan, who is Mira Ray’s (played by PC) love interest. However, there is a scene in which Mira meets a guy (who turns out to be a douchebag) and makes out with him in the car. This guys is none other than Nick Jonas, who is far from a douchebag IRL. *wink* In a recent interview, the actress was asked about her experience while shooting the “steamy makeout sesh” with her husband, and she revealed a shocking detail about the same!
Priyanka claimed that Nick “took one for the team” because she was originally meant to do the scene with some random actor, and since it was COVID time, she didn’t want a stranger “licking her face.” The actress compelled Nick to do the scene, and being the supportive husband that he is, he gladly consented.
Talking about their experience together on set for the first time, PC said, “It was so funny because I was really unprofessional that day. He was really taking the douchebag thing seriously and practicing for it and I was just in rips. I was laughing, everyone was laughing. At one time the crew laughed so loudly during the take that we had to retake it. It was just so funny.”
