Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are so in love that they can’t help but share it with the world. Whether it’s posting a loved-up picture on Instagram or trying their hand at Photoshop to make memes about themselves, they always find cute little ways to make each other feel special.
Right now, PeeCee is at the Toronto International Film Festival for the world premiere of her film, The Sky Is Pink. Yesterday, she posted a bunch of pictures and videos on the ‘Gram, where she was spotted wearing a gorgeous brown dress, striking a pose with her director, Shonali Bose. The two were clearly having a ball! But what caught our attention was PeeCee’s cup of coffee. No, it wasn’t a regular cup of coffee. This one had Nick Jonas’ face on it! We’ve got screenshots to prove it.

At the premiere of The Sky Is Pink, Priyanka was asked about the story behind the Photoshopped picture of her and Nick at the VMAs. She said, “I was sick that day, which is why I could not go to the VMAs. It was supposed to be a fun night where all six of us got together because we never get to do it that often. We have crazy schedules, and now that the boys are on tour, we meet as the 6 of us.”
She added, “This was supposed to be the fun thing we did together. We had dinner planned after too, and then I was just really unwell. I think that Nick felt bad that he was there and I was unwell. I was watching from my couch at home and when they won, seeing his face I felt like, ‘Ugh.’ I should’ve been there, but I was so sick. I saw it on his face.”
Priyanka felt disheartened that she could not be there for her hubby, so she made it up to him in her own special way.
In other news, according to Shonali, on the last day of the shoot for The Sky Is Pink, Nick was invited to the set. They wrapped up the film just four days before their big, fat December wedding. Shonali recalled, “We had told Nick to come at the end because we were doing some champagne and cake for them, but he came a little early and we were out in the dark and Priyanka was doing a very, very intense scene and I heard a sniff and I suddenly turned and there was Nick standing next to me and he was just crying.”
She added, “Priyanka goes, ‘you made your husband cry, this is a great scene’. It was really cute.” This just goes to show that Nick is not only Priyanka’s pillar of strength but also one of her greatest fans!
The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, is about a couple, Aditi and Niren Chaudhary, whose daughter is diagnosed with a terminal illness called pulmonary fibrosis.
Priyanka said that she wants her fans to know that the film is all about choosing to celebrate a person’s life. We can’t wait for it to hit the screens on October 11.
