Mukesh Ambani had brokered several successful partnerships in his career. The business tycoon has merged companies and bridged the gap between several countries and heads of states with his influence. However, one happy encounter that even he couldn’t see happening at Isha Ambani’s wedding was that of Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
The two Bollywood superstars have not exchanged pleasantries nor have they appeared in the same movie for the last seven years now. However, it changed last week at Isha Ambani’s wedding when the two finally came face-to-face.
Priyanka was standing with hubby Nick Jonas when she saw Shah Rukh approaching them. Instead of doing a quick roundabout, Priyanka reportedly went up to SRK and introduced him to Nick. The three exchanged brief hellos before heading off to different corners of the wedding.

An eyewitness present at the wedding told a national daily that both Priyanka and Nick were not awkward with SRK at all. “I’ve never seen them speak to each other,” the person reportedly said. “But I guess the beautiful occasion plus the fact that PeeCee is now Mrs Jonas must have prompted Shah Rukh’s innately gentlemanly nature to zip out of his heart.”
The person also added that even though things did look warm between the Don co-stars, it would be quite a while before Nickyanka are invited over to Mannat for a meal.
Shah Rukh and Priyanka have been known for ignoring each other for quite some time now. The reason is still out there, but rumour has it that the two had become the best of friends and reportedly shared an intimate relationship when filming the Don series.
It all began when PeeCee was spotted in what many touted to be one of SRK’s jacket. However, things fell apart between the two and Gauri Khan also intervened, which is apparently the reason two don’t work together anymore.

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding saw a galaxy of Bollywood actors, politicians, foreign dignitaries and the business tycoons who descend upon Antilia. A lot of celebrities were a part of some of the ceremonies. In fact, Shah Rukh had joined Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in serving food to the guests at the Ambani wedding. SRK had also performed on stage at the Ambani sangeet in Udaipur.
Meanwhile, Priyanka and Nick are all set to host their own wedding reception over Wednesday and Thursday. The invite for the 20th December party showed that the celebrations will take place at the Ballroom of The Taj Lands End, Mumbai. Nickyanka had tied the knot on earlier this month in Udaipur and had hosted a reception on 4th December in Delhi.
