Priyanka Chopra Jonas hasn’t made a trip to India in over three years. In a recent interview, she said that due to her projects in Hollywood and her family residing in L.A, the actress had fewer reasons to visit her home country. However, going by her latest Insta stories, PeeCee is finally making her return.
As soon as she landed, PeeCee took to the ‘Gram to share the first glimpse of the country. She captioned the picture, “Back in the bay. Touchdown!,” and added the geotag of the city. Soon after, she uploaded another picture of the streets of Mumbai, reminiscing old times. The caption for this post read, “Mumbai meri jaan.” How cute, right?
Besides this, Priyanka was also spotted binging the old seasons of the talkshow, Koffee With Karan. She did this while munching on a packet of Flaming Hot Cheetos. Well, we’re glad to see that the actress is making the most of her time here.
However, it looks like that Priyanka’s return to India is not just about relaxation and unwinding. A little birdie tell us that the star is currently discussing her next Bollywood project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The source further added, “They have been meaning to collaborate for another project for a long time now. This new movie will be nothing like anything we’ve seen before.”
And guess what? Sanjay Bhansali isn’t the only director Priyanka is discussing possible film opportunities with. The buzz has it that the actress is also in talks with director Vishal Bhardwaj. It is also reported that he has already shared a few ideas with Priyanka and they will take the discussion forward after their meeting.
TBH, we missed seeing Priyanka on our screens, so here’s hoping the actress makes her comeback to Bollywood real soon!
