Want Skin Like Priyanka Chopra’s? Try Her DIYs

In an interview, Chopra generously shares her cherished homemade skincare recipes, offering a glimpse into her personal routine for maintaining vibrant, healthy skin and hair.

Make Chopra’s 5-second Lip Scrub

As you can tell, my lips are one of my more prominent features…” she says with a laugh. This alone speaks volumes about the effectiveness of her homemade lip scrub

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp of sea salt 
  • 1 tsp of vegetable glycerin 
  • Dash of rosewater

Directions 

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl to create a coarse scrub-like texture. If it feels a bit too dry, just sprinkle in some rose water for your desired consistency. Slather this goodness onto your lips and leave it on for around 5 minutes. Then just give your lips a little rub to peel off the mask to reveal some seriously plump and fresh lips!

Make Chopra’s Mom-Approved Face Mask 

When you’ve got some extra time to experiment with, she recommends mixing your own ubtan body scrub. Ubtan refers to a traditional skincare mixture used to bathe with, which is primarily made of the ingredients listed below:

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • Full-cream yoghurt, just enough to create a paste
  • Few drops of lemon juice 
  • A pinch of sandalwood powder
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Milk (optional, for consistency) 

Directions 

Mix everything together until you end up with a paste. If it’s too dry and clumpy, add milk to achieve a thick texture that stays on your skin. Apply to all over the body and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Gently rub the dried mask off the skin to get rid of the fuzz and dead skin. 

Recipe for Priyanka Chopra’s Anti-Dandruff Scalp Mask 

When your scalp needs some extra care and attention, or if you’re battling those frustrating flakes, Chopra’s homemade scalp treatment has got your back!

Ingredients

  • One cup of full-fat yoghurt 
  • 1 tsp of honey 
  • 1 egg

Instructions 

Mix all the ingredients until well combined. Lather generously on the scalp, and tips of your hair. Cover and keep it on for 30 mins after which you can wash it off with a mild shampoo for silky smooth locks.
