It is hard to believe almost a decade ago we witnessed the greatest love story in Bigg Boss history. It all started when Prince Narula met the love of his life Yuvika Chaudhary in the BB 9 house. Since then they have been one of my favourite Bigg Boss couples. But even the best couples can’t avoid public scrutiny.
Recently, Yuvika opened up on society’s pressure to have kids and her baby plans in an interview. She said, “Before marriage, people are persistent…‘shaadi kra lo (get married)’. Thereafter, they get on to you with, ‘When are you having a kid’. No one asks, when are you getting a diamond (laughs). We have been planning a child since we married, but it is in God’s hands, and we do not question his plans.”
It is upsetting to see how people think it is okay to question a couple’s personal decision, just because they are public figures. As Yuvika said some things are beyond anyone’s control, so that leaves no room for speculation!
When Yuvika Met Prince
Yuvika and Prince’s love story is what dreams are made of. The two met on the sets of Bigg Boss 9 and sparks flew right away. In an attempt to woo the Maleyali Jotheyali star, Prince even cooked a heart-shaped parantha for her. It was every bit like a fairytale!
As they say, good things take time. It took these two a while to make things official but it was worth the wait. In a media interaction, Yuvika said, “When we came out of the BB house, we were friends. In the house, Prince had some hope but when I didn’t respond, he thought that I have some issues with him and I will never say yes. He was sure from day one and I, like any other girl, took my time.” In October 2018 Yuvika and Prince tied the knot and got their happy ending.
IMO, it is best to not speculate about Yuvika and Prince’s pregnancy plans. It is their journey and we are mere witnesses, so let them live it.
