Influencers are frequently subjected to nasty comments, personal insults, and even threats. Beauty influencer Tarini Peshawaria became the latest victim of internet trolls. The pregnant influencer was called out for a ridiculous reason, but she slammed the hate with the perfect response!
Tarini, who is currently seven months pregnant, is making the most of her pregnancy. From hitting the gym regularly to attending international fashion events, the influencer has managed to stay super active. On August 9, she posted an adorable reel with her husband in which the two were seen dancing at the club. A heavily pregnant Tarini was swaying to the music in a cute striped dress while her husband coddled her baby bump. Somehow, Tarini’s outfit and actions irked the netizens.

While most of the comment section was flooded with praise for the mommy-to-be, a few users were not happy with Tarini’s “short dress.” One user wrote, “Please watch your clothes while pregnancy it doesn’t suit you.” Another user wrote a long paragraph on how Tarini was defying Hindu culture. They stated that, as per “Hindu culture,” a pregnant woman must always be reading the Bhagwad Gita and chanting the name of God so that the child inherits good qualities. They wrote, “Dancing carelessly in some club, wearing revealing clothes and dancing around and fooling around will definitely harm your child.”
The worst aspect about the comments was that they were made by women. It doesn’t matter when faceless trolls criticise a woman’s choices, but it’s revolting when a woman doesn’t think twice before putting another woman down. Tarini, on the other hand, handled the hatred with grace. She replied to the first comment about her clothes and wrote, “I’m going to pin these to the top just because I feel this thought process deserves to be highlighted.” She also posted the second comment on her Instagram story and wrote, “Appalls me that not just anyone but ‘a woman’ would say something like ‘wearing revealing clothes will definitely harm the child.’ Wow.”
Pregnancy is not an easy journey. It is also different for every mother. It is really sad to see that a woman cannot see another pregnant woman happy and making the most out of a difficult situation. As women, we all can definitely do better. More power to you, Tarini!
