Mumbai is like the L.A of America. Almost every Bollywood celebrity calls this bustling city home and if you’re lucky, you might even bump into one here! Take note though, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. You may encounter them when you least expect to, but trust me, the experience will be memorable. If you’re a big Bollywood buff, you might want to hang out at these places in Mumbai to spot your favourite celebs. (Who knows? You might even get a cool selfie with them! Good luck.)
1. The Tanjore Tiffin Room
A month ago, I spotted Dangal actress at the ‘The Tanjore Tiffin Room’ on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. She walked into the tropical-themed restaurant dressed in casuals and was seen sitting inside with a group of friends. I can tell you that she looks even prettier in real life! The only bummer was that she left sooner than she arrived.

2. The Pilates Studio
Eager to work out with the stars? Well, if you join Namrata Purohit’s fitness centre, you may be lucky enough to spot Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Janhvi Kapoor and Malaika Arora. The rates are under 20k for 10-12 pilates classes, you can sign up at their Bandra outlet if you really want to workout with your fave celeb. I’m sure it will improve your core, posture and flexibility.

3. The Olive Bar & Kitchen
Almost everyone in B-Town has been to this place! The ambience of this restaurant is on point and the service is pretty amazing. If you need any more proof of how popular this place is, well let’s just say, everyone from the Khans to the Kapoors have dropped by. Even Bollywood’s most loved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have made several appearances over here. In fact, it’s quite a hotspot for many film success parties. Bollywood stars aside, it’s a great place to hang out and let your hair down even if you’re just looking for a good time.

4. PVR Cinemas
One way to spot your favourite celebs is to book the first day, first show of their movies. PVR cinemas, Juhu usually host movie previews. Just imagine watching a film with your favourite Bollywood star in the same movie house, no? One word *MAGICAL*

5. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
Of course the airport is a sure-shot place to catch a celeb in their most talked-about travel looks. It’s either early morning or late night when you will spot a Bollywood celeb leaving or returning from an adventure. Even though security is tight at the airport and the celebs are in a hurry to check-in or leave, some of them do manage to squeeze in some time to click pictures and interact with their fans and the paparazzi.
6. Mehboob Studio
There’s always something happening at Mehboob Studio in Bandra. Stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salman Khan, are usually spotted there for ad campaigns. If you’re lucky to get in, you might as well take a stroll around the studio area. Who knows, you may even bump into King Khan if you’re mega lucky!

7. Yasmin’s Body Image
Kareena Kapoor was Yasmin’s first Bollywood celebrity client and after her, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta, and Alia Bhatt followed. She’s the founder of her studio ‘Body Image’ and is someone who is extremely passionate about keeping fit. You can either take private or group sessions at her studio and the prices vary depending on what you pick and choose.

8. The Daily Bar & Kitchen
My colleague, Priyanka Ghura, said that she bumped into hottie, Varun Dhawan at The Daily. Apparently, he tripped on her palazzo pants and later apologised. He was also kind enough to click a picture with her and her friends. I know, this picture of her and him is going to make all the girls scream!

9. Bastian
This restaurant is one of Bollywood’s favourites! If you do manage to book a table on the weekend, there’s nothing like it. Sunny Leone, Shilpa Shetty, Khushi Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Pandey, Ishan Khattar, Disha Patani and many more have wined and dined here quite frequently. In fact, it was widely mentioned by celebs on this past season’s Koffee With Karan too. Sunday brunch is an optimal time for star-spotting at this restaurant and even if you don’t, the delicious food will make it all worth it.

10. Yauatcha
The Kapoors and the Chopras LOVE lunching here. I can’t blame them – the dim sims, noodles and salads are orgasmic! A meal for two is about Rs 2,800-3,500 here. Just imagine you getting a table next to lovebirds, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra? I mean anything is possible *Wink*

11. Kitchen Garden By Suzette
Eat clean and eat healthy at Kitchen Garden by Suzette. If you’re lucky, you will spot celebs like Malaika Arora, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif enjoying organic salads and yummy sandwiches here. This place makes healthy-eating an enjoyable experience for sure!

12. Prithvi Theater & The Leaping Windows
Kalki Koechlin has been spotted at two places in the suburbs, the Leaping Windows in Versova and Prithvi Theater in Juhu. I’m not surprised though, both these run on creativity and talent and they’re also frequented by many TV celebs as well.

13. Farmer’s Cafe
This cafe may be tiny in size, but it attracts some of the biggest personalities in B-Town. To name a few – Shahid Kapoor with wifey, Mira Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif have been here. Take it from me, the skinny pizza, mint cooler and risotto are YUM!

14. St. Regis Mumbai
There’s a high possibility that you will catch a glimpse of a Bollywood actor here. During LFW and commercial events, this place is packed with the big-wigs of B-Town. Sometimes, they even perform at Phoenix Market City! I’m not kidding, I’ve been lucky enough to experience an impromptu performance by Badhshah here. Always roam around with a camera just to be safe.

15. Sequel Bistro & Juice Bar
Our Bollywood stars love to munch on healthy treats. This amazing place is famous for its salads and gluten-free menu. Alia Bhatt, Mira Kapoor and Bipasha Basu have been spotted here on many occasions.
