November 22 is an important date for Indian women because it is our national crush Kartik Aaryan’s birthday. The Luka Chuppi actor celebrated his birthday with a bang last night. And not just any birthday, his last one in the 20s! Can you believe that cute guy from Pyaar Ka Punchnama is 29 already?
Kartik rang in his birthday with his family who surprised him at midnight by decorating his Mumbai house with balloons, cakes, candles and his childhood pictures. He also shared an album of pictures from this intimate family celebration on Instagram with the caption, “Jab Mummy Papa ne bday pe surprise kiya …❤️” Aww, how cute!
But this time around, Kartik had more than just a party to plan for his other family in Bollywood. Lately, the actor has been busy promoting his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. So, only after spending the day at various Mumbai colleges promoting the film with the cast, it was party time for the birthday boy last night. And party he did!
But not all of Bollywood turned up for his big day as Kartik’s wasn’t the only party in town last night. Rohini Iyer, the owner of Raindrop Media (India’s leading media management company), had a house party of her own. B-towners like Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, even his long-time co-star Nushrat Bharucha were spotted at Rohini’s party.
But going through Kartik’s #AboutLastNight pictures doing rounds on social media, we think it was equally lit. Apart from Bhumi and Ananya, his other co-star, Janhvi Kapoor, from Dostana 2 also graced the occasion in a neon pink dress. And it is her and Kartik’s pictures together that we woke up to today.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan, his co-star in Aaj Kal and alleged ex-girlfriend, was nowhere to be seen. Guess we will see them together again close to the film’s release on Valentine’s Day 2020. Apart from this, Pati Patni Aur Woh is all set to hit the theatres on December 6. We will also see Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 next year. Can’t wait!
