Between covering Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani’s wedding earlier this week and admiring pictures from their star-studded ceremony, things have been pretty hectic at our end. Not that we’re complaining! On the contrary, we enjoyed being a part of the couple’s special event. That explains why we’ve been feeling dull and empty for the past day or two. Since Rhea and Karan had an intimate event and could not invite all their friends and acquaintances, they sent out a wedding announcement to their friends from the industry. A marriage announcement is a card stating the marriage of the couple and seeking blessings from the person it’s sent to.
Earlier today, Jackie Shroff’s wife Ayesha Shroff took to her Instagram handle to give us a glimpse of the card. It reads, “Elated to announce that on 14.08.21, Karan and Rhea were married in a small ceremony at home. The circumstances of our time prevented us from having many of our loved ones with us. We deeply missed having you all there but you were in our hearts. As Rhea and Karan start their new life together, we ask for only your blessings and love for their journey forward.
