Let’s be real, the real reason most of us avoid period sex is ‘coz it can get messy. We are worried about staining our sheets or grossing out our partner. But girl, shower sex is a great option during those days!
Period Sex Is Unhygienic
Tring Tring! Hello? It is science here and we are about to bust a myth. Period blood is not unhygienic and/or harmful in any way. Women bleeding down there is not dirty and it is perfectly safe to have vaginal sex during your periods!
Period Sex Is Too Painful
If you are afraid of period sex because it might be too painful then let us put your worries to rest. The truth is sex can help you with your cramps and let’s not forget an orgasm makes everything better. Just pick a position that is comfortable for you and don’t try anything too extreme.
Period Sex Makes You Bleed More
Sex can have an impact on your menstrual cycle but it won’t affect the bleeding at all. The contractions that you have during the act might push some more blood out but that’s all. It won’t affect your overall bleeding.
