The gorgeous bride, Patralekha Paul has found her Rajkummar (Rao), and they have started their journey towards forever. As our Instagram feed flooded with shots from their all-white engagement to their traditional wedding, all eyes were on the bride. However, we were just blessed with more shots from the pre-wedding celebrations and they are stunning.
For her mehendi, she chose to rock a poppy makeup look. Bright and bold, this one was a clear winner. So, if you are planning to have a beach wedding or looking for inspo for a hatke bridesmaid look, then bookmark this one.
7 Steps To Recreate Patralekha’s Eye-Catching Beauty Look
Step 1: For That Glowy, Luminous Coverage
Give your face a two-minute massage with a rich, creamy moisturiser. Then, follow it with a luminous priming elixir. Wait for at least 5 to 10 minutes to ensure the products really sink into your skin. Then, with a damp sponge, apply a medium to full coverage foundation on the face, blended down to your neck. Pat and blend a creamy concealer under the eyes and on any scars and blemishes.
Step 2: Your Brows But Better
Fill in any gaps in the brows with your eyebrow pencil and feather them out with a spoolie. If you’re blessed with fuller eyebrows, you can just use a brow gel to set it in place.
Step 3: Nail That Poppy Eye Makeup
Prime your eyelids with primer to set the rest of the eye makeup products up for success. Next, choose a lilac eyeshadow and apply it all over your lids, crease, and slightly along the lower lash line. Blend the edges using a clean fluffy blending brush. Then, take a bright, poppy pink hue and apply it onto the inner socket of your eyes, avoiding the tear duct. Coat the pink shadow with sparkly silver glitter. Then, complete the look by applying an extended winged eyeliner along the upper lash line.
Step 4: Stressed, Blessed, And Lash-Obsessed!
Curl your lashes and coat them with a volumising mascara. If you are exacting, stick on for a voluminous pair of falsies.
Step 5: She Came She Saw She Contoured
Set the makeup on your forehead, around the chin and nose using a translucent powder to keep it from creasing. With a powder bronzer, warm up your complexion, focusing on the areas where the sun would naturally hit. Apply it across the temples, hairline and jawline, and along the hollows of your cheeks.
Step 6: You Glow Girl
To mimic Patralekha’s unreal glow, apply some highlighter on cheeks and high points of the face, using your fingers to pat and press the product. Then, apply a rosy cream blush on the apple of your cheeks, blend it upwards towards the temple.
Step 7: Pinktastic!
Line your lips with pink lip liner. Next, apply a layer of your favourite pink lipstick that has the same undertone as that of your blush. Spritz your face with a setting mist to complete the look.
