Parineeti Chopra’s Instagram feed is a beauty lover’s paradise. Lately, she’s been pretty obsessed with smokey eye makeup looks all thanks to Mira, a character she played in her latest film, The Girl On The Train. We’ve given you a beauty breakdown of the look in the past but now, it’s the star herself who is showing us how she created the look that’s got everyone talking.
In a video tutorial, Parineeti said that this look just requires two products- a brown eyeshadow and a black kajal and we’re totally taking notes. So first, you take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and apply the brown shade all over the lid then take the kajal and apply it messily on the lower and upper lash line and smudge it out.
The trick here is not to be neat at all, the more untidy it looks, the closer you are to acing this makeup look.
Once you’re done with your eyeshadow, apply coats of mascara and overline your brows to get that really scruffy look. Finally, give your hair a zhoosh, spritz on a texturising spray to give it volume and texture and you’re ready to look just like Pari.

One tip that the star does give is rubbing your eyes like you’re really tired to get that intense, smudged makeup look but if you’re planning to step out for a party like this, we don’t recommend it. Watch her entire makeup tutorial below:
So, just like stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Katrina Kaif, and Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti has also taken to social media to show off her makeup skills and we’re here for it. The smokey eye looks amazing but we probably might tone it down a notch. We don’t want to look like we’ve just cried our hearts out or slept with last night’s makeup on, right?
