All The Inspo You Need To Wear Pantone’s Colour Of 2024: Peach Fuzz

Like the brand does every year-end, Pantone has unveiled ‘Peach Fuzz’ as the color of 2024. This gentle, velvety hue, described by Pantone as ‘contemporary and nurturing’, hopes to infuse big cultural moments of the coming year with a sense of calm and compassion.

Interestingly, this colour has already made quite a mark in 2023, gracing red carpets and high-profile events. Celebrities have been spotted donning ‘Peach Fuzz’, showcasing its versatility and timelessness even before it officially took the title! As we look back at these appearances, it’s clear that ‘Peach Fuzz’ is not just a colour for 2024, but a hue that has already started shaping our aesthetic and emotional landscape.

Speaking about the shade Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute™said it is “A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.”

As Lipstick

We love a good peachy moment when it comes to makeup, and there’s no one better to highlight this than Kylie Jenner. The founder and favourite representation of Kylie Cosmetics – this is one of her go-to lip shades since it works perfectly for the red carpet, or for those quick grocery runs.

As A Bronzer

When it comes to blush, one actor who regularly surprises us with her elegant makeup looks is Katrina Kaif. Founder of KayBeauty, her peachy blush looks have always hit the spot and really elevate all her outfits! She’s a big believer in the power of the ‘orange shade’ and also recommends using it to colour correct any dark circles you might have.

As Eyeshadow

Also a great colour to use on the eyes, as seen in one of Alia Bhatt’s looks. The colour highlights the undertones of her skin and works supremely well as an eyeshadow since it resonates well with the no-makeup makeup look!

As Blush

One of the biggest trends of 2023 was the sun-kissed, sunburnt look as popularised by Alia Bhatt and seen on stars like Ananya Pandey. This look works splendidly with pink as well as peachy products. In fact, one way to elevate it is to use a cream-based peach blush – an easy hack for a game-changing look!

As Highlighter

Bhumi Pednekar’s Thank You For Coming press tour look was deliciously peachy toned and she served throughout. Instead of going hot and heavy on the makeup, she kept it relatively close to her original skin tone.
