Palak Tiwari Mixes These Ingredients & Applies Them To Her Skin

Palak Tiwari may be a film industry newbie but she’s well-experienced when it comes to skincare. The celeb has quite an extensive skin routine but there was one aspect of it that really caught my attention.

Palak literally mixes two different serums and applies them on her face. And this serum cocktail is actually a boon for acne-prone skin. Curious to know more? Here are all the deets on Palak’s weird but effective skincare habit.

What Is Palak Tiwari’s Serum Cocktail?

YouTube

Palak showed off the skincare and makeup routine she follows before an interview and during it, she revealed her weird serum hack. “I just take two pumps of vitamin C and then I try to mix a little bit of hydrating serum also…full chutney paste I make,” she said mixing them together and patting it on her skin.

The exact serums Palak used is the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum and the Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum.

Is Palak Tiwari’s Serum Cocktail Safe To Use?

Layering serums on your skin is common, but mixing them in your hand before you apply it on your skin is unusual and needs to be done with caution. Palak used two different serums from the same brand and same range which makes it okay since the formulas won’t fight each other or irritate your skin.

You also need to be careful about which type of serums you mix together. Since Palak used a vitamin C serum which can be exfoliating and then a hydrating ceramide-infused serum which isn’t exfoliating at all, her serum cocktail is a winner. But if you plan on using two exfoliating serums together like a retinol serum with a salicylic acid serum, then that’s a bad idea.

Benefits Of Palak Tiwari’s Vitamin C + Ceramides Cocktail

Palak is a genius for figuring out this serum combo because the two serums balance each other out perfectly.

  • Some people do complain that vitamin C serums are mildly irritating and feel dry. But when you pair it with hydrating ceramide serum, you will never feel dryness or irritation from vitamin C.
  • Ceramides are super hydrating and are also the building blocks of the skin.
  • Use ceramides when your skin needs a break and needs to heal. If your skin is inflamed or you went overboard with your active ingredient serums (vitamin C serum), exfoliators, face scrubs, masks, ceramides will rescue it.

I know I’ll be making Palak’s skincare cocktail to help treat my skin!
