There are but a handful of shows that I’d agree to review after work hours on a Friday night. Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is one of them. As a rule of thumb, I never say no to a cringe binge and this one has all that it takes to be called a guilty pleasure watch. There is drama, there is emotion, and not to forget, loads of piping hot tea.
Was it worth trading a fancy Friday night dinner for? I am gonna say yes! There wasn’t a single boring moment throughout the season. And there was so much that I did not see coming. In fact, I can bet no one anticipated watching these seven moments in Fabulous Life of Bollywood Wives Season 2:
Getting Hot And Horny
For the Bollywood Wives, Season 1 was just a warm-up. In Season 2, they unleashed the wild side and gurlll, did we love every bit of it! In fact, we witnessed Neelam Kothari Soni, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey discussing their sex life in the opening scene of this Season. And it did not take too long for Maheep to declare, “This glow is not the makeup.” Here for it!
When Maheep Dropped A Major Bomb
Maheep adopted a no-bars-held approach for Season 2 and that really defined the tone of the show. She did not even shy away from opening up about Sanjay Kapoor cheating on her once after the wedding which lead her to move out of the house. However, she decided to forgive him later ‘coz she wanted to make the marriage work. “It was not a compromise at all. It was for me,” said Maheep in an honest moment during the show and we know it took a lot of courage.
When Neelam Made The Big Reveal
Things have been looking up for all the Bollywood wives post the success of Season 1. This has also been reflected in the kind of work Neelam has been getting of late. Just recently, we watched her cameo in Masaba Masaba. And guess which critically acclaimed show will she be seen in next? Made In Heaven!!!
Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives X Indian Matchmaking
Seema Sajdeh recently finalised her divorce from Sohail Khan and is open to the idea of love again. This led to a lot of awkward matchmaking attempts which included Karan Johar trying to set her up with rapper, Badshah. But wait, there is more. Maheep went the extra mile and fixed an appointment with Sima Taparia to find a match for Seema. You have to watch the show to see how weird it got.
When Seema Had A Compliment For Bobby Deol
Looks like, Seema has been reinventing her fashion brand and is going for a younger, funkier vibe. The designer has been seeking feedback from her friends and turns out Boddy Deol is one of them. Which is fine. There’s nothing wrong with having Bobby as a friend. However, you should re-evaluate your life when things like “Who better than stylish Bobby” come out of your mouth. Especially after you see him sitting indoors wearing a kala chashma.
A Literal Bollywood Shaadi
I mean who could have imagined that one of the Bollywood wives would end up getting married in Season 2? But like I said, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 2 is full of surprises. The biggest one was to watch Bhavana Pandey and Chunky Pandey renewing their wedding vows. It was everything that we were expecting it to be and more!
Ranveer Singh Making A Stellar Cameo
Karan Johar has a way of roping in the star of the moment in his shows and for this season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, it was Ranveer Singh! The man served his usual charisma as he went around the set kissing everyone and putting up a show to remember. Just 10 minutes of screen time and our man ensured to make those the best moments from the season. He is a superstar for a reason, after all!
