Not Cool! VJ Andy Is Making Personal Comments On Bigg Boss 16 Contestants & We Are Infuriated

With Bigg Boss 16 ruling the TRP charts, all the contestants have been driving massive social media trends. Fans and critics are busy commenting on their everyday antics ad some ex-BB contestants have jumped on the bandwagon as well. Be it Gauahar Khan coming in support of Shalin Bhanot or Rahul Vaidya calling out Nimrit Ahluwalia’s behaviour, they appear to be quite invested in the show. However, there’s a fine line between sharing your opinion and trolling—something that VJ Andy has been failing to understand. He is constantly targeting BB 16 contestants by calling them names, posting parody videos, and writing offensive tweets. Here’s why he needs to be stopped stat:

Blatant Body-Shaming

Last month, Andy posted a parody video where he took a dig at Nimrit Ahluwalia’s show and called it ‘Roti Sardarni’. He even disrespected the actress and called her a ‘Bhaalu’. After the clip went viral, Nimrit’s mom slammed Andy for resorting to cheap tactics for popularity. She said, ‘He is body shaming someone, taking a dig at someone’s career choices. All that he’s doing is in very bad taste and I hope some sense prevails.’ It’s sad to see Andy misusing his position as a celeb and body-shaming Nimrit without an iota of remorse. He has a strong social media following and it would have been cool to see him critiquing the show without insulting and trolling the contestants.

Where’s The Line?

The worst part? Despite receiving flak for his comments on Nimrit, Andy doesn’t look like he is in the mood to stop with his theatrics anytime soon Just Last night, he posted another parody clip targeting Sumbul Touqeer and MC Stan. He made a silly version of the two called ‘MC Dumbul’ and took a dig at Stan’s rapping skills. He even dragged Sumbul’s dad into the rap and said, ‘ye rap mere papa ne NAHIN likha hai’!  Well, this isn’t comedy. It is pathetic of Andy to drag contestants’ families and at this point, his videos feel less like his review of the show and more like personal attacks. Not cool!

FYI, this isn’t the first time Andy has trolled or body-shamed someone. Last year, he took a jibe at Tejasswi Prakash’s outfit on a reality show. He said, ‘Jo corset andar pehna tha na, yaha se (pointing at his chest) itni padding thi ki lagraha tha ki andar se kuch lagaya huwa hai.’
