When we think of Nora Fatehi, we think of iconic dance moves, bold fashion outings and her social media shenanigans. However, she is so much more than what we see, as she is truly a hustle queen!
There is no denying that Nora Fatehi is one of the most sought-after performers in Bollywood. Though it appears she has it all, life was not always a walk in the park for the Canda-born actress. Nora had her fair share of struggles that shaped her into the badass woman that she is today.
Today she is on her way to be the new dancing queen of B-town but Nora had no connection to Bollywood or the entertainment industry when she started out. Even while living in Canada, she had to shoulder many responsibilities. The Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans fame actress had to do odd jobs to make ends meet when she was a teenager.
She recently made her way to the popular food show Star v/s Food and talked about her struggles. Nora revealed that she started off as a waitress when she was just a teenager.
The Dilbar star said, “I worked as a waitress on and off from the age of 16 till she was 18. It was a difficult job as you need to have communication skills, personality and most important you have to have a fast and good memory. Sometimes, customers can be mean but you must be able to handle situations.”
This is not the first time that Nora has spoken about her struggles. In an earlier interaction with Anas Bukhash, she broke down while talking about her experiences as a newbie in Bollywood. She said, “You think you meet all these kinds of people and realise the world is vicious but also… I will tell you why I cried because maybe other girls went through the same things as me and gave up. It’s so easy to give up. And I thought about the people I met, who really brought me down… Not in India, but everywhere. Even in Canada, where I was just hustling.”
We certainly stan a self-made queen like Nora Fatehi!
