Ever since Nikki Tamboli revealed that she wanted to marry Pratik Sehajpal, we’ve been keeping an eye out trying to find out more about their story. Remember when we told you guys about Nikki ‘fessing her love for the actor and Pratik proposing to her in Bharti Singh’s The Khatra Khatra Show? If you’ve been waiting to know more about their relationship too, we’ve got a heartbreaking update to share. During one of her recent interviews, Nikki made a shocking revelation about the entire episode and we totes did not see that coming.
While talking to a leading daily, Nikki opened up and shared that when she says that she likes someone on reality shows, she does not mean it. “Whenever I say that I like this guy or that guy on any show, people think that I am in love with that person. But, that’s not true. I get paid for my job, so I say things,” she elaborated.
In the same interview, Nikki revealed that she’s single and not in a hurry to settle down. She explained that she’d like to meet someone great and marry him. “I am very clear in my head that I just want to meet one right person and be with him forever. I am not in any hurry for that as of now, though,” says Nikki.
Well, NGL fam, we’re quite disappointed with Nikki’s revelation. Isn’t the entire point of participating in a reality show about showing your true self to the audience? Why would anyone say things that they don’t mean, especially things like having feelings for someone? We hope Nikki changes her approach to reality shows in the future.
