Bigg Boss 14 may have ended long time ago, but the drama hasn’t! Let’s be honest–we see many friendships and romances blossom on the reality show, but very few of them survive after Bigg Boss ends. Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu’s friendship had grabbed a lot of attention. And Jaan’s liking for Nikki was no secret. However, Nikki only wanted to be friends, and she was mostly seen teasing him on the show by calling him ‘Bhai-Jaan.’ While they had their nok-jhok moments, eventually Jaan returned to the show as Nikki’s connection.
Curious to know if they are still friends? You may be disappointed to find out that Jaan and Nikki have cut off all ties. Nikki and Jaan are no longer in contact with each other, and Jaan wants to keep it that way. While speaking to an entertainment portal, Jaan opened up about his equation with Nikki. “There is no equation with Nikki at all. There is no conversation, no contact with her at all. I think it is going to be the same, I am going to continue to maintain that,” he said.
Stating the reason for things turning sour between them, he said, “Because, I mean, a lot of things had happened, a lot of stuff has been said about me. So I choose not to respond to it and I would just ignore it. I am going to live my life in peace. All the best to her and all the peace to her. But there is no contact with her and I am going to maintain that”. During Bigg Boss 14, their friendship had hit a rough patch after Nikki accused Jaan of kissing her on the cheek, despite her asking him not to.
It has been many months now, and while Nikki participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, Jaan has been working on his music career.
Would we have loved to see Nikki and Jaan remain friends even after Bigg Boss? Hell yes. But we also understand that it’s okay to set boundaries and move on when things aren’t working out!
