Perhaps we should begin by saying that we absolutely love Nia Sharma. Her bold personality and the way she voices her opinions—we seriously stan it all and think that she deserves the world. Well, this is why we hate it when the stylists do her dirty and that’s exactly what has happened with her latest outfit. Yesterday, Nia took to Instagram to post a carousel of her in a rather awkward outfit and we have so many feelings about it. The look is just not sitting well with us and here’s why it is making us so uncomfortable:

Nia Sharma’s latest outfit on her Instagram feed comprises a see-through chantilly lace top, black denim cut-offs which have been accessorised with a chain, and knee-high boots. Firstly, there is no way that all the separates that Nia is wearing in this picture belong together in the same outfit. Nope! These are just not working out.
I mean if it weren’t for the zealously detailed trumpet sleeves, perhaps Nia’s lace top would have worked out with a fitted knit skirt. Then the shorts definitely belong to a more casual outfit and would have looked alright with a crisp shirt and sneakers. Again, knee-high boots are quite in vogue ATM and Nia’s solid whites should have worked alright with a nicely detailed mini skirt. As for the belt, it belongs nowhere and should be done away with ASAP! You get our point—this outfit is a colossal wreck and Nia deserves so much better.
The only saving grace here? Nia herself and her flawless makeup!
