It’s that time of year again! And no, unfortunately, we aren’t talking about the festive season. We’re referring to the time when Delhi turns into a gas chamber. The air quality has worsened this month, thus reducing the visibility and increasing the pollutants in the air. Delhi recorded its worst air day of 2020 on Monday (November 9) with Air Quality Index (AQI) touching 477. Just to put it in perspective–AQI between 0-50 is considered healthy.

The central government’s Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi said that the air quality will remain in the severe category on Diwali (November 14) too.
