Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty have been going strong ever since the two got out of Bigg Boss. However, lately, it seems that there’s trouble in paradise. It all started when rumours of them breaking up started doing the rounds on social media a few weeks ago. They only died down when the actress took to the ‘gram to state that they were much together. That’s not all, during a recent interview, Raqesh surprised us all by calling Shamita ‘a friend’.
While talking to a leading daily about their equation two days ago, Raqesh said, “We are in a happy zone; she is a dear friend. Friendship has to be so strong that nothing else can affect it. She is a pure soul.” He added that they have a lot in common and it’s interesting to have like-minded people around. The actor also shockingly stated, “I would not name it a relationship. It’s a bond.”
Just when we were beginning to think that they’d called it quits, the lovebirds surprised us once again. Yesterday, Shamita visited Raqesh and his fam in Pune and spent the day with them. The actor’s sister, Sheeta Bapat, shared a bunch of sweet pictures of all of them on the ‘gram with heart emojis. The pics soon went viral and netizens started to drop comments asking, “toh rishta pakka?.” Another commented, “Is marriage on the cards?” Have a look at the snaps here:
TBH, Raqesh and Shamita are one of our favourite Bigg Boss couples. However, these rumours coupled with Raqesh’s recent interview have got us worried about the two. Here’s hoping that things are moving in the right direction!
