It wasn’t long back when Neha Kakkar left us quite shaken after breaking down mid-performance during a reality show’s shoot. A painful breakup with her then-boyfriend was speculated to be the reason behind Neha’s heartbreaking meltdown. Hardly anyone has forgotten that moment to date. But guess we soon will, given how the singer has turned it around for her in the romantic department.
The singer hasn’t stopped smiling since her October 2020 wedding and is living her best life with her husband Rohanpreet Singh right now. That said, it isn’t just her life that has turned around in the past couple of years. In a recent appearance on Indian Idol 12, Rohanpreet shared how Neha came into his life like a literal miracle and changed everything for the better.
Neha took to Instagram recently to share a promo from the show where Rohanpreet can be seen getting all candid in an emotional speech about the wifey. In the video, he can be seen sharing how it was a moment of pure serendipity for him when he received a call from Neha’s manager. “I was tying my turban in Chandigarh, when I got a call from her management. They asked if I wanted to participate as a co-artiste in her new song. I said ‘do you have to ask,” he shared.
Rohanpreet further added, “I remember entering the room and Nehu was sitting there, and she turned around to see me. That was the moment that changed my life.” He also talked about how Neha has a positive effect on everyone around her and brought the very same positivity to his life as well. “I tell her that she’s God’s favourite child. She wrote that song (Nehu Ka Vyah), but she also wrote my destiny. My family always used to ask if I’d ever appear on a platform such as this (Indian Idol) and look at me now mom, because of Nehu, I’m finally here.”
