Amid much speculation and unceasing rumours, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor finally tied the knot earlier this month and turned our Instagram feeds into a happy place. From their oh-so-gorg wedding pictures to adorable videos, we have been busy obsessing over #RaAlia wedding for a while now. But, now we wonder what life has been like for newlyweds?
Thankfully, Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor gave us an update about her bahu Alia. In a recent video, Neetu was seen posing and interacting with the paparazzi. When a pap asked her, “Bahu Kaise hai (How is your daughter-in-law)?”, the Yaarana actress replied, “Bahu Badhia Hai (Daughter-in-law is good).”
NGL, we are so happy that Alia is living her best life as the Kapoor bahu.
Even before the #RaAlia wedding, Neetu never missed an opportunity to praise the Highway actress and called her a part of her family. A while ago, the veteran actress opened up on her relationship with Alia and shared, “As a person, she is the purest form of a human being. She is lovely, uncorrupted by the world, no negativity, no jealousy, nothing, she is just pure. And so is Ranbir, he is also pure. They make a great pair.”
Neetu also opened up about the kind of relationship she wants to share with Alia and said, “My relationship with my mother-in-law (Krishna Kapoor) was outstanding. She loved me more than her son and I know it. We were friends and spoke about everything under the sun. In fact, I would complain about my husband to her. We were very open. I hope I have the same equation with Alia because she is outstanding and amazing.”
We are pretty certain Alia and Neetu are having the best time together and Ranbir is the new third wheel in this relationship. Don’t you agree?
