Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor have shown us the true meaning of marital bliss since their wedding in 2015. Now, we all know that this couple has embraced parenthood after the birth of their daughter Misha in 2016, and baby boy Zain in 2018. We’ve seen Shahid be a doting father and husband, and in a recent interview, Mira spoke about how he supported her during both her pregnancies.
Speaking to a media portal, Mira shared that a partner’s support is important during pregnancy and Shahid’s support helped her stay ‘very calm and happy’. She also opened up about all the care and love she received from Shahid and his family throughout this journey. She said that Shahid’s mother and sisters also stood by her side and helped her stay confident.
“Your partner’s support is really important in every step, and that helped me stay very calm and happy. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey you embark on with your partner and one should embrace it and never shy away from the same. I was only able to do this with complete support from both Shahid and my family,” said Mira.
“Traditional tips from mom and sisters along with my own love for yoga, helped me stay confident both mentally and physically during both Misha and Zain. Moreover, listening to your body and developing a healthy routine helped me,” she added.
Cute, isn’t it? Who wouldn’t want a family like that?
Daddy dearest Shahid is known to be protective of his beautiful babies. In fact, in an older interview with a leading daily, the actor had opened up about his daughter being in the limelight. He revealed that he hates to think of all the media attention on her, and it makes him wish he had another job. “I don’t want her to deal with it. It’s not good for children to go through this. They have a right to a normal childhood,” Shahid had said.
On the other hand, mommy Mira has been sharing tips and tricks for pregnant women and new moms. As of now, the couple is away in Goa on a beachy vacation and have been dropping some sunkissed pictures on social media.
