Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 is a glorious tale of the Indian Cricket Team winning the World Cup for the first time ever in 1983. It was a special victory that still holds close to our hearts since we broke the domination of West Indies and that too, on the British turf.

Ranveer’s real-life wifey, Deepika Padukone, will also be seen in a special role in the movie, essaying the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev. The movie is slated for release next year on April 10.
