Kensington Palace has announced the news of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pregnant with their first baby and the new member will arrive in the Spring of 2019. The good news was shared on social media as the royal couple landed in Sydney to begin their Royal Tour of Australia.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding was keeping the royal family and the media occupied. However, Kensington Palace broke the news after everyone was done talking about the busy weekend.
In a tweet, it was announced, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.”

Did you know that the rumours of Meghan’s pregnancy were around since their marriage? They were just rumours, of course.
The royal couple is overwhelmed after seeing the love, support and excitement of people for their first baby. After the announcement, Kensington further tweeted in the same thread saying, “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

Emily Nash, royal commentator, also tweeted saying that she believes Meghan is 12 weeks pregnant, so we probably will be able to welcome a new royal by the mid of April.
