Just when we thought it is going to be another rainy Saturday afternoon, Masaba Gupta decided to bless our day with Masaba Masaba Season 2’s trailer. NGL, we have watched the video a million times already and we are sure it is going to be a masaledar season.
Masaba shared the video on her Instagram account and wrote, “She’s been a princess, she’s been a queen, now it’s time for her to be KING!” Check it out:
TBH it is one of the most relatable promo we have seen in a while. We bet almost everyone was noddib to Masaba when she said, “Career thik jaa raha hota hai, toh personal life ki lag jaati hai. Personal life thik jaa rahi hoti hai toh career ki lag jaati hai” (When your career is shaping up well, your personal life suffers, when your personal life is going well, your career stuffers)
Not just Masaba, we were equally impressed by mama bear Neena Gupta’s sassy remarks. Just like last season, we are hoping for some heartwarming tête-à-tête between Neena and Masaba.
In an interview with a leading magazine, Masaba talked about what’s in store for the fans in season 2. The fashion designer said, “Season 2 is about bravery and courage—from my mum’s perspective as well as my own. We decide to take charge of our lives. My mum and I speak about this quite often IRL too. As women, we are told to be modest, that we should be quiet and that we should let people appreciate us. I don’t agree. Nobody is going to do that for you. It’s a job you have to do yourself. You have to go out and ask for what you deserve and make sure you get it.”
