Several things were supposed to happen in 2021 but couldn’t, due to the pandemic. Bollywood delayed the release of many movies this year and halted the shooting of a few upcoming films. Well, the reopening of theatres has finally paced up things in B-town. We have already seen more releases this month than we did in the entire year and we don’t want this streak to stop. We are looking forward to watch more amazing movies in 2022 and along with that, some fresh faces on the silver screen.
There were a bunch of celebs who were supposed to make their big Bollywood debut in 2021, but couldn’t for obvious reasons. Hopefully, we will not have to wait any longer as they will make their grand entry in the industry with amazing Hindi movies next year. Here are the celeb debuts we are most excited for:

Here are nine starlets who are all set to make their Bollywood debut in 2022:
Shanaya Kapoor
We have been waiting for Shanaya Kapoor to make her entry into Bollywood for quite some time now. In fact, we were pretty sure that 2021 would be the year when we see her on the silver screen. While that didn’t happen, she did land herself a deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. Apparently, she started the shooting of her first film in July and we cannot wait for it to release in 2022.
Suhana Khan
Suhana Khan completed her filmmaking course in New York in August and is all set to return to Mumbai soon. Interestingly, her next big project might be with Netflix India. Zoya Akhtar will be directing the desi adaptation of the Archie Comics called The Archie soon and apparently, she has approached Suhana for the leading role. We wonder if she would play the character of Betty Cooper or Veronica Lodge.
Alizeh Agnihotri
As per the grapevine, Salman Khan is all set to launch her neice, Alizeh Agnihotri, next year. She will be reportedly seen in Avnish Barjatya’s movie opposite Rajvir, Sunny Deol’s son. The shooting of the grand project will kickstart from next year and we cannot wait to see star kids together on screen.
Manushi Chhillar
Manushi Chhillar’s debut movie, Prithviraj Chauhan, was supposed to release this Diwali. But, the makers had to shift the dates as they did not want to launch the film on an OTT platform. With theatres now reopening, we hope that we get to see Miss World 2017 on the silver screen soon. She will be starring opposite Akshay Kumar, who will be playing the titular character in the movie.
Isabelle Kaif
The youngest of the Kaif siblings, Isabelle Kaif, will make her Bollywood debut with the movie, Kwatha. It will be produced by Salman Khan and she will be seen opposite the actor’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma. Now, that’s an interesting pair and we would love to see them together in the action-drama soon.
Shalini Pandey
Shalini Pandey made her debut in the Telugu film industry with the movie, Arjun Reddy. Now, the actress is all set to enter Bollywood with the movie, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, opposite Ranveer Singh. While the film was supposed to release in August, the dates got delayed. But, we are looking forward to watch her movie in 2022.
Rashmika Mandanna
The actress has been delivering one hit after the other in the Telugu and Kannada film industries. She is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the action-thriller, Mission Majnu. She will be seen oppsoite Sidharth Malhotra and the shooting of the film has already begun.
Palak Tiwari
Palak Tiwari created a lot of buzz with her first music video, Bijlee, with Hardy Sandhu. Well, that was just the beginning and the starlet has major things planned ahead for her. She will be soon seen in the movie, Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, starring Vivek Oberoi.
Harnaaz Sandhu
Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu, made every Indian proud with her iconic win this year. The Punjabi actress is planning to make her grand debut in Bollywood soon and wishes to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan. Well, we hope that 2022 is also a lucky year for her and all her wishes do come true.
