We have been obsessing over Mahira Khan, her wedding video and looks; and really, it’s understandable. The actor has been constantly updating the internet with pictures from different functions, and a small story about each of them. Of course, we love her for that. The looks and the outfits, though, are something we MUST talk about. They are pretty, simple and something very new – all of them. It’s almost like Mahira Khan has started a new fashion trend with these looks, and we’re religiously adding these to our own lists of clothes we want to own.
Here’s proof:
1. The dreamy wedding lehenga
Mahira Khan wore a sophisticatedly designed silver lehenga with a long white veil. This piece was designed by Faraz Manan, and it looked absolutely gorgeous. The actor has also previously marketed and wore Faraz Manan’s collection. This bridal lehenga, however, is something people cannot stop talking about.
2. The Hyderabadi Khada Dupatta
With pictures of her look, Mahira Khan shared a small note about her dua-e-khair, which was heartwarming. She went on to talk about the day, and its significance for her. The outfit that she wore was also something very simple, and yet so festive. It was an ivory and gold Hyderabadi jora designed by Umar Sayeed Couture.
3. The orange dress
Another elegant outfit from the wedding festivities was this orange dress that Mahira Khan wore for her mayun. It was a simple look, and the dress included a green and gold border – this was designed by Zara Shahjahan. She added minimal accessories to the look, and everything looked very filmy.
4. The floral red lehenga
Mahira Khan shared another set of pictures from one of the wedding functions – which looked like the engagement. She’s wearing a red and white floral lehenga, which looks and feels contemporary. The dupatta has a bandhani-inspired pattern, and it’s something very new and cool. This was another dress that was designed by Zara Shahjahan. Of course, we love the pictures that she shared from the event.
5. The ink-blue anarkali suit
Finally, the dress from her mehendi was an ink-blue anarkali suit. Designed by Menahel and Mehreen, it looked subtle and something out-of-the box. This dress also had a red dupatta which just made the entire outfit look very happy and bright. It was perfect for a function as playful as mehendi.
At this point, Mahira Khan is just giving us reasons to get married. These dresses are the reasons.
