Mahhi Vij Talks About Losing Her Baby & It’s Heartbreaking!

TV couple Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali first embraced parenthood when they took complete responsibility of their house-help’s kids in 2017. From taking care of their education to giving them the best upbringing possible, Jay and Mahhi left no stone unturned to give the kids a happy life. Cut to 2019, the resorted to IVF and welcomed their daughter, Tara. But did you know that their IVF journey was no cakewalk and they lost one of their twin babies during the process?

In a recent interview with a leading daily, Mahhi and Jay opened up about how the couple were about to welcome twins. But since fate had other plans, the couple lost one of their babies during the process. Speaking about the same, Mahhi said, “In IVF, there are chances of having multiple babies. Our Taru was A+, and the other baby was A. Unfortunately, the other baby couldn’t survive. The doctors explained that it was good that it was leaving because most of the time, it leaves along with the A+ baby. I was praying that it’s not our fate to have them both, but at least one should be with us.”

The actress also revealed how she had to go through three unsuccessful IVF cycles to finally conceive for the fourth time, which effected her mentally. She said, “During the first trimester, I was on complete bed rest. I would only go for sonography, and a nurse would visit my home to give me the injections. I became much quieter, and there was no social life.”
