Bollywood Celebrates Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara, Share Heartbreaking Messages

Sushant Singh Rajput’s much-awaited, and sadly last film, Dil Bechara released on 24th July and fans across the globe cannot control their tears. What a performance, Sushant!

Sushant plays the role of Manny, who is suffering from bone cancer while his love interest in the film, Kizie Basu (Sanjana Sanghi) is suffering from thyroid cancer. They meet each other through a cancer support group and the entire film is a roller coaster of emotions based on the best-selling novel, The Fault in Our Stars. 

Since the release of the film, his fellow Bollywood stars and friends cannot help but praise his impressive performance. His longtime best friend and Pavitra Rishta co-star, Mahesh Shetty too shared some photos on Instagram. He revealed that he took these photos when he visited SSR on sets. Sushant looks so happy in them! Have a look.

Mahesh calls him his hero and cannot help but praise his late best friend. “What a beautiful film”– he says and we wholeheartedly agree.

Mahesh and Sushant met on the sets of their hit TV serial Pavitra Rishta and their bromance only blossomed from there. Mahesh has constantly shown love and support for his ‘bother’ and said that this film will always hold a very special place in his heart. He also penned down an emotional note that he shared on his Instagram page.

Sushant’s last film has definitely left an impression on all of his loyal fans. His ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande too shared her support on Twitter:

Dil Bechara surpassed everyone’s expectations and even went on to get a rating of 10/10 on IMDb. Not only was the storyline amazing but both the actors did a fabulous job with their portrayals of Manny and Kizie. A fitting tribute to a phenomenal actor and a beautiful human being.
