The two never miss out on an opportunity to shock us with their antics and their engagement announcement was no exception. The couple recently surprised their fans with the cutest wedding proposal— but there is a ‘bloody’ twist in the story!
Megan took to the ‘Gram to confirm their engagement with an interesting caption and truth be told—we aren’t sure how to react! The Jennifer’s Body actress penned, “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree, We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other’s blood”
Yes, you read it right! Megan did just confess to drinking her fiance’s blood in her engagement post. TBH, this is certainly on-brand for the eccentric pair who never miss a chance to bring up their love for each other’s blood.
Megan & Colson’s Obsession With Blood
If you think this caption is a little eerie, for Megan and Colson this is as normal as it can be. Back in February 2021, the actress made their relationship official on the ‘Gram and wrote, “i wear your blood around my neck (sic) ” In the snap, the rapper can be seen wearing a vial with Megan’s blood in it.
In an interaction with Ellen DeGeneres, Colson spilled the beans about Megan’s unusual gift and said, “Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie, and this was really new in our relationship. I didn’t have a passport either, so she was going out to Bulgaria, and so I was kinda freaking out like, ‘You’re gonna leave and I can’t even come to see you. I mean, some people give a handkerchief to their partner, she gave me her DNA.”
Well, Megan and Colson’s relationship might be a little eccentric for most of us, but it seems to make them really happy. Congratulations, you two!
