The shaadi season this year has been unlike any other! It seems like every week someone is getting married. The latest Bollywood celeb to announce her wedding is the Four More Shots Please! actress, Maanvi Gagroo.
Maanvi Gagroo announced her engagement earlier this year, leaving everyone speculating about the mystery man. A few weeks later, she introduced her dulha to her Insta fam with a Valentine’s Day post. It was then revealed that the actress is marrying Kumar Varun, an actor, and stand-up comedian.
The two had a hush-hush court wedding on 23rd February in the presence of their close friends and family. While Maanvi wore a red saree, Varun complemented his bride in an ivory sherwani. A Tradish-Modish Saree!
Maanvi’s bridal red saree was designed by Shantanu Goenka. The sheer saree was the ideal blend of modern and traditional! It was paired with a matching sleeveless blouse and embellished with floral embroidery and subtle shimmer. Maanvi finished off her bridal ensemble with a matching veil. The saree was beautifully draped by Dolly Jain.
Contrast Accessorising
Contrasting accessories are a raging trend among brides this wedding season. Maanvi flawlessly hopped onto the trend as she styled her bright red attire with gold jewellery featuring green stones from Mortantra Jewellery. I loved how she embraced her Kashmiri roots by wearing dejhoors. Styled by Bhavya Patel, the look was perfect for a fuss-free bride!
Open Hair, FTW!
While most brides opt for a sleek bun on their wedding day, Maanvi appears to have taken inspiration from Alia Bhatt, as she opted for open tresses. Fouzia Kazi styled her hair, which was left open with a middle part. The vibrancy of the ensemble was balanced by shimmery eyes, rosy cheeks, and a soft pink lip shade, all beautifully put together by MUA Komal Halai Dhawan.
