Now that the NYFW has officially come to an end, it’s time to witness yet another grand spectacle, the London Fashion Week 2017! We just can’t get over the adrenaline rush as we eagerly wait the 5-day spectacular event to be held at The Shore Studios, London!
Not only that, POPxo will be attending LFW with London School of Trends, Delhi.
We’re looking forward to being front seated, as London Fashion Week plays host to some of the best fashion designers in the world. The madness begins on the 15th and ends on the 19th of September, 2017. Ace German Womenswear designer, Paula Knorr is all set to kickstart this fabulous event! Here’s a list of things that have got us SUPER excited about the upcoming week.
1. The number of female designers!
This year, we can’t wait to witness the unparalleled creativity, excellent craftsmanship, and exceptional finesse of veteran women designers like Mary Katrantzou, Simone Rocha, Amanda Wakeley, Anya Hindmarch and Sophia Webster.
London School Of Trends will pay homage to the rich Indian culture and heritage by celebrating ‘India Day’ on the 19th of September, during London Fashion Week! Our fave Masaba Gupta would be showcasing her latest work. We’ve made it no secret – we love her young take on style and can’t wait to watch what she comes up with next.
2. London Street Style
For all you fashion enthusiasts, the LFW is a very good platform for trendspotting! People from different cultures, backgrounds and ethnicity can be spotted with their own distinguished sense of style. However, the high street fashion scene is truly remarkable! Also, it is very inspiring to gain first hand information from designers, fashion influencers, bloggers and stylists as they share their invaluable knowledge and skills with the audience. LFW also gives us direct access to designers, influencers and industry insiders.
