Goodbyes are never easy. They are extra difficult when bidding farewell to our favourite shows. In just one week, we’ll be watching the last episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7 and our feelings are all over the place. But hey, there’s a silver lining! As the much-loved season ends, Karan is all set to host the KWK awards. The best bit? Some special guests will join him on the jury!
The KWK awards jury includes social media stars Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhat, Niharika NM, and Danish Sait. KJo has shared a promo for the episode. Well, we anticipated nothing but fireworks with such a stellar team on the KWK couch and the promo is proof we were right. But it gets better. We come packed with got some intel from the KWK set and it is about KJo’s fashion struggles.
During the shoot, Karan revealed he finds it hard to pick clothes for sombre occasions like funerals. The filmmaker revealed, “Funeral wardrobe is the hardest for me because I don’t have anything that is plain and simple. To set this straight, I had once gone shopping for plain white kurtas from a designer but then three people died. So I started thinking that maybe this is a bad omen.”
It is not just funerals and their wardrobe conundrum that trouble KJo. He finds it hard to trust his sartorial choice when it comes to corporate meetings as well. He added, “I face the same thing when I have to go for corporate meetings or even PTA meetings for my daughters. I just down own simple white shirts or suits!”
