It seems that a new face has been added to the main star cast of the upcoming reality show, The Kardashians. You guessed it, we’re talking about Travis Barker. While he has appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians before, it’s going to be quite different this time. Why you may ask? Because Travis is officially a member of the Kardashian clan now. The musician and his fiance, Kourtney Kardashian, are married and we’re jumping with joy!
The couple tied the knot at the One Love Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas on Sunday. Yes, right after turning all heads at the 2022 Grammy Awards with their steamy kiss, Travis and Kourtney took their eternal vows at a private ceremony.
They did not change into traditional wedding attire and wore the same outfits in which they attended the Grammys. Well, given Kourtney’s classy off-shoulder black gown and Travis’s dapper black tux, we aren’t really complaining about their sartorial choices. Also, the couple made a special demand for their D-day and we find it quite interesting.
A leading international daily reported that Travis and Kourtney wanted an Elvis impersonator to perform their wedding rituals. The owner of the chapel, Marty Frierson, revealed that they were quite particular about their demand and said, “I didn’t know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, which was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were.”
According to the owner, the new Mr and Mrs danced to Elvis’s songs, tossed the bouquet at the driveway and had a blast on their special day. While Travis and Kourtney have not shared any pics from the ceremony as of now, we’re sure that it will happen very soon. Marty shared that there were four people at the wedding who recorded the entire event and said, “I don’t know if they were friends or their social media team. They filmed everything from the time they walked in, to the time they walked out. The vows, the kiss, the rose bouquet toss, the dancing. I usually take pictures for the chapel but they wanted to handle it all themselves.”
